Lanteglos is ideally situated to allow you to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer. The stunning North Cornish coast, with its glorious beaches, dramatic cliffs and pretty fishing villages, is just five miles away. And within easy reach is the world famous Eden Project, Tintagel Castle, and Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed.

Film locations

Cornwall has famously provided the backdrop for a number of high-profile films and television dramas, including Poldark (filmed in Charlestown and Bodmin Jail, amongst others), Doc Martin (filmed in Port Isaac), parts of the Bond film "Die Another Day" (filmed at the Eden Project), and the German-language "Rosemunde Pilcher" TV drama, which has seen more than 100 episodes filmed at various locations across Cornwall.

Stately homes

View some of the finest historical architecture in England, with stately homes such as Lanhydrock and Pencarrow, and fairytale castles like Tintagel, all just a short drive away.

World-famous gardens

See the world-renowned Eden Project, and discover the many semi-tropical gardens such as the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan or Trebah Gardens.

AVAILABILITY UPDATE

The swimming pool is open from 25th May until 30th August but the hotel, bar and restaurant are currently closed due to staff shortages. We will keep you informed when this changes.
