Polzeath Beach
Polzeath is a 20-minute drive from Lanteglos, with a wide sandy beach that’s great for surfing, swimming and relaxing. You can learn to surf on Polzeath Beach with Surf’s Up! Beginner Surf Lessons…
First time surfer? This isn’t like school at all – the Surf’s Up! way is to treat you as an individual, make it fun and inspirational.

Improvers…
The ‘Improver’ category covers a wide spectrum of ability – so there are a lot of sub categories!! Basically if your surfing ability lies anywhere between ‘fall off quite a lot’ to ‘stand up quite a lot’ then this is for you.

Intermediate…
You’ll already be a competent surfer in the white water, but are ready to take on unbroken waves. This can be a very frustrating phase in your surfing development but it offers the most reward.

Taster Lesson…
Aimed specifically at kids 7 yrs and younger. A chance to get a feel for the water and experience riding waves for the first time. Parent Warning – these kids will often be better than you by the end of one session!!

The Thruster…
Three, 2 hour lessons in quick succession will improve your surfing beyond measure. Take the lessons as best suits your holiday…. For maximum benefit we recommend one a day. Or for those on a short break, an intense little course with two lessons on the Saturday and one on the Sunday… A great way to blast away the office cobwebs.

The Quad…
Now we’re talking! Surfing four days consecutively under the guidance of one of their super experienced instructors?… You’ll hardly recognise yourself.

The Bonzer…
Having seen what they can do for a one off, well you can only imagine how much you’ll progress by doing a series of lessons – i.e. a course! It really does make a lot of sense.
