Designed
by six times Open winner Harry Varden, Looe is a parkland
course with panoramic views of Dartmoor and the surrounding
countryside. Generally regarded as a genuine test of all-round
golfing skills, with plenty of slopes and wooded valleys which
are full of shrubs to catch the unwary. The 446 yard par 4
is possibly one of the most demanding finishing holes in the
county, requiring two good, accurate woods to reach the green
and avoid spoiling your card.
